Prayers for Murder-Suicide Victims

Forum,
Can anyone direct me to prayers that can be offered especially for a victim of murder-suicide? This week a young mother in our neighborhood killed her 7 week old son and then shot herself. She was suffering from post partum depression. She was the most loving and outgoing person. It is such a shock to all of us that this could happen to such a wonderful family. Please add this family to your prayers and forward to me any prayer suggestions. We are all grieving for this family.

Maybe you can have a Mass offered for them?

I will pray:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Lord I pray that you accept that women up to heaven in your glory and her young son. Lord please heal their family
 
:gopray: What a tragedy! My heart breaks for that family. I would just say a simple prayer from the heart with regards to to family.

Father God, absolve this young women who acted within the control of post part-um. Grant her forgiveness and accept her soul. Lord we ask you accept the soul of this young child who was taken from us to soon. Lord bring healing to the extended family who is lost and can’t make sense of this tragedy. Grant them understanding or bet yet acceptance during this period of mourning. It is so hard to heal when there is no chance at understanding the why.

Pray for us sinners now

May the souls of this mother and child, and the souls of all the faithfully departed, rest in peace Amen
