Prayers for my ailing father

Hello all,
My father is terminally ill with a long term muscle disease. Although he takes his faith seriously, I am sometimes fearful that he is still struggling with some of his long term obstacles to holiness. He has about a year left for God to work his grace in his life and to prepare best he can for the next one.
  • Please pray for spiritual strength and a profound conversion of heart for him in his last days.
  • Please pray for his caretakers and my mother in their ministry to him
  • Please pray for my family as we struggle with this issue and its implications

I pray that God gives your father the grace of a happy death when the time comes. May He grant your father strength, fortitude, and steadfast faith. I pray that everyone who ministers to him and takes care of him are granted a portion of God’s healing power and patience so that they may ease his pain and suffering. I pray that your family becomes more united and strengthened in the midst of this challenge. Amen.

I pray for your father. May God’s grace be upon him so that in his last days he takes all actions needed to prepare his soul for the life to come.

O Blood and Water that gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a font of mercy for us, we trust in you. Take all steps necessary to save this man’s soul. Your peace be with him.
