Prayers for my brother with Lymphoma

When it rains, it pours, its seems. After my parents moving in with me in August, then losing my father in October, now this has happened.

My younger brother Tom who lives in Anchorage was diagnosed on Saturday with Lymphoma, cancer of the lymph system. He has it on both sides of heck and under one arm. He will having surgery next week and will begin his first round of chemotherapy shortly after that.

I ask for prayers for him, for his conversion, for strength while battling this and, God willing, his healing.

Thank you and may God’s peace be upon you.

I lost my father as well during my last week of chemo. It was stage 3 in my lympths and lungs and now I’m over 4 years out with a 80% chance of cure now. I was 30%. Tom can get through this by the grace of God. No lie, its tough, but suffering like this is different then anything you can imagine because of grace. I pray it sticks and leads to healing and conversion. May something wonderful come from this. Tim

My brother had surgery yesterday.

It appears that he has cancer throughout his chest, essentially his entire lymph system. He also has a tumor in his thigh.

Prayers are still needed.
 
RPP, I know of a guy that had 85 lympth nodes removed during an RPLND surgery and is doing fine now. Lymph node disections are very common for guys with testicular cancer and there is a high survivability rate. I know Lymphoma can be tough, but I wanted to let you know of some successes after surgery. I’m coming up to my 5 year mark this year making it a 90% chance I’m cured and I was a tough stage 3 case, high chance of reoccurance and only a 30% chance at life when first diagnosed at 32. It’s a long and worry filled road I pray the Lord gives your brother the strength and grace to get through to cure. God Bless, Tim

Praying that the surgery on Tom will be entirely successful…and for his quick healing…
 
It appears that my brother was worse than he first let on.

He is in stage IV and it has spread to his bone marrow.

Prayers for his conversion and healing, please.
 
Please, Lord make this person well. Cure him in your might, God.
Fill him with your strength.
Amen
