You’re right, Teresa, Sidhe, odhiambo & everyone who has prayed for my Brother, Martha & myself…I have to keep in touch with my dear, DEAR prayer friends. Besides, I miss “talking” to all of you. (I just won’t post on the other forums.)
Frank entered the Hospital last year on March 17, St. Patrick’s Day. He’ll be coming home on March 10, of this year. Myself, Martha, my husband & son moved all of his things into his new apartment, over the weekend. Martha found this apt. &, it’s both affordable & nice…not fancy but nice. The whole south wall of his dining/living room is windows. The sun pours in & that something he hasn’t had enough of this year. I started a plant for him, from one of my own, about a month ago & intended to take it to his hospital room…now, I get to take it to his new HOME! I’m crocheting like crazy to make a throw for his favorite chair, as it’s a bit worn. (But, SO comfortable.)
Something else that I didn’t mention is the fact that though, according to government law, the VA. hospital deemed him stable for long enough that he could no longer stay there, :extrahappy: he;s still got to go to KU. MED for the reconstructive surgery on his colon. His insurance will cover most of that & I’ll post the news as to when that will take place. I have become dependent on your prayers.
I could hardly believe it when he called me yesterday afternoon & said he wanted for us to go to breakfast at the place we ate together every Thurs. evening before he got sick. I CANNOT WAIT!!!
If you could say a prayer or two that he’ll go to Easter Mass with us, I’d really appreciate it.
Almighty Father, you are lavish in bestowing all your gifts, and we give you thanks for the favors you have given to us. In your goodness you have favored us and kept us safe . We ask that you continue to protect my Brother and to shelter Frank in the shadow of your wings. Please, heavenly Father make it “well with his soul”. We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
Prescious St. Jude, I owe you so much & there is absolutely nothing that I have that is worthy of you…maybe my undying gratitude will be enough & you surely have that.
Dear Jesus, heap special blessings on these wonderful people who have taken myself & my family into their hearts & prayed so faithfully.
