Prayers for my community

Please pray for an increase in peace, unity and charity within my Lay Carmelite Community.

One person who has been a guest at our meetings has been fostering dissent, has left the community, and has threatened to try to create a Secular Carmelite Community in our area. This will only lead to confusion amongst people in the area about Carmelites in general.

Another person, fed by the dissent stirred up by the first person, has been angry, aggressive and threatening towards others in the Community. This person has been asked not to return to any of the Community’s meetings.

Please keep our Community in your prayers as well as these two misguided persons. May we all find peace.
 
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to thy protection, implored thy help, or sought thine intercession was left unaided.

Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto thee, O Virgin of virgins, my mother; to thee do I come, before thee I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in thy mercy hear and answer me. Amen
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Mary Ellen be assured I will keep your community and that begun by a dissident member in my prayers. I’ve seen a similar situation and known the pain, confusion, and anxiety it can cause.
May all the Carmelite Saints and Blesseds pray for you all.

May today there be peace within.
May you trust God that you are exactly where you are meant to be.
May you not forget the infinite possibilities that are born of faith.
May you use those gifts that you have received,
and pass on the love that has been given to you.
