Mimi was elderly (87 years old) but she was not ill. She suffered cardiac arrest this morning at her home where she lived alone as a widow. Perhaps this is the best way to die with no prolonged suffering, but it is still quite a shock, especially to her beloved daughter and her husband, who found her expired at her home. Thank you for your prayers.

V/. Eternal rest grant unto her (Mimi), O Lord.
R/. And let perpetual light shine upon her
V/. May she rest in peace.
R/. Amen.
V/. May her soul and the souls of all the faithful departed,
through the mercy of God,
rest in peace.
R/. Amen.

Lord,
Mimi is gone now from this earthly dwelling,
and has left behind those who mourn her absence.
Grant that they may hold her memory dear,
never bitter for what they have lost
nor in regret for the past,
but always in hope of the eternal Kingdom
where you will bring us all together again.
Through Christ our Lord.
R/. Amen.

Praying for the repose of Mimi’s soul. And prayers for her family in their mourning.
I am sorry for your loss meltzerboy. 😦

Meltzerboy; Prayers said for your cousin that she may find eternal peace and joy in the present of her God. And hope that the family finds comfort in that hope.

Shalom

When All That’s Left Is Love
by Rabbi Allen S. Maller
When I die
If you need to weep
Cry for someone
Walking the street beside you.
You can love me most by letting
Hands touch hands, and Souls touch souls.
You can love me most by
Sharing your Simchas (goodness) and
Multiplying your Mitzvot (acts of kindness).
You can love me most by
Letting me live in your eyes
And not on your mind.
And when you say Kaddish for me
Remember what our
Torah teaches,
Love doesn’t die People do.
So when all that’s left of me is love
Give me away.

May Mimi rest in peace. May the family be comforted by each other and from G_d.

Mary.

May she rest in peace with the Lord. Praying for you, her and her family.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your cousin. Praying for the repose of her soul and for your family…

Psalm 130

Out of the depths I cry to You, O Lord; Lord, hear my voice.
Let Your ears be attentive to my voice in supplication.
If You, O Lord, mark iniquities, Lord, who can stand?
But with You is forgiveness, that You may be revered.
I trust in the Lord; my soul trusts in His word.
My soul waits for the Lord more than sentinels wait for the dawn.
More than sentinels wait for the dawn, let Israel wait for the Lord,
For with the Lord is kindness and with Him is plenteous redemption;
And He will redeem Israel from all their iniquities.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

I’m sorry to hear this, Meltzerboy.
Saying prayers for Mimi and all who love her.

Lord, have mercy.
Christ, have mercy.
Lord, have mercy.

Our Father
Hail Mary
Glory Be

May she rest in peace, in the loving arms of Jesus!
