My cousin has had an extraordinarily difficult time the last 5-6 years. First her brother died unexpectedly and rather mysteriously. Then about two years later, her son died from an undiagnosed congenital heart problem. He left behind a 13 yr old son, and she became his guardian at almost 60 yrs old.
Late last fall she was diagnosed with Parkinson’s disease, and seems to have been having considerable trouble adjusting to the medications. About two weeks ago she fell and broke her shoulder. They were not able to do surgery because of Parkinson’s and epilepsy, so they moved her into a rehab facility.
At this point, she should really be able to be moving on her own, but she can’t even manage to get out of bed and walk to the bathroom. She fell today, and laid on the floor, yelling, until the staff came to pick her up. From what we can tell, there shouldn’t really be a reason why she’s having difficulty walking. Sadly, she seems to not have any desire or will to recover.
She lost or rejected her Christian faith long ago. Please pray for her healing, and that she turns back to our Lord. Thank you.
