Prayers for my daughter - Please, I am desparate

Asking for prayers for my daughter, who suddenly, after spending time online, believes she is transgender. She has never been boyish at all. This is all very sudden. Please pray for her and our family. Which saint should I pray to? She is seeing a therapist who is pushing her to take hormones and have surgery. Very rushed. Our family is devastated.
 
I’m praying for your daughter and your family. May God rescue your daughter from transgenderism and show her that this is not an appropriate way of life. May He also strengthen your family.

I’m praying to St. Dymphna, saint of mental disorders, family problems and addictions… (my reasons for praying for our children.) It’s a shame what is out there for them to be persuaded by… we all need to pray for each other and ask St. Dymphna to intercede for us…

Take her to a therapist who will help her get over this transgender thing, Not someone who will encourage the problems. Talk to her. Why does she think this. Don’t keep taking her to a therapist who will egg on her problems. Will pray for your family.
 
I wish I could. She is 18, so she can go to whomever she chooses. In my research, I have found that gender therapists are very biased towards medical transition. My daughter has become a cash-cow for this therapist.
 
I am so very sorry for you, Ladybugg. My niece is the same age and is going through the same thing. I don’t know where you are or how your insurance works, but wouldn’t your daughter have to pay quite a lot to medically “transition”? I would think at her age, that part of it would be impossible for her to achieve, so perhaps you have some time to work with before things are irreversible. Praying hard for your situation.
 
Are you paying for her therapy, or is she paying for herself? If you are paying and driving her there, then you can decide what therapist to pay for.
 
Ladybug, I ask our Father to touch your daughter with the spirit of God. Please allow her daughter to work through this and live a healthy and normal life. Allow her eyes to be open and follow in Jesus. I ask this in your name, Jesus, Amen!
 
She is paying out of pocket. (her own) She is over 18 and has a job.

Try just sitting down and talking with her I guess.
