I need help from all you prayer warriors. I just found out my nephew is in jail. He was adopted from Korea when he was 41/2. He has always wondered why hi birth mother gave him up. He is a very sensitive man. He began stealing when he was little. He stole a candy bar after his sister got new shoes for her 1st Communion. I guess he never really stopped. He was sent away a couple of times and we thought he was pretty well straightened out. Apparently that was only a symptom of his very deep need for love. Neither of his parents were very demonstrative and needed a lot more than they could give. Anyway he is facing a possible prison term of 6 yrs. What he really needs is a group home and some deep therapy. He lost faith but was reaching out for the last two months. He needs to truly find faith and to get his emotional being taken care of. Also his sister, my niece, has lost her faith too. We had a good talk and she just feels that she needs to live her life as best as she can. Hasn’t thought too much about after life, maybe there is none. She thinks she believes in something bigger than her but can’t put a name on it.🤷 I know this is not a new story, but it is my family. These ‘kids’ are 35 yrs. old. Not like they are realy young. I appreciate all the help i can get. God Bless you all.Kay

Praying for your family members that they may find the Lord in their everyday life and learn to love Him again. Praying that He be at their sides and support them through this time of questioning and pain. Praying that they know deep in their souls that they are never alone as You are always with them - even when they are too frightened or pained to see You there.

A sweet prayer for those who doubt:

REMIND ME, LORD
Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that You are powerful enough to single-handed handle all of my problems, no matter, how large, how small, how complex or how simple. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that You are stronger in every way than my strongest enemies. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that You are mightier than any bad wishes against me. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that You are my protector. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that I don’t have to fear anyone. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that You capable of helping me with anything; I feel overwhelmed by, I feel helpless about, I feel anxious about, or I feel defeated by. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that You are my helper. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that I don’t have to fear anything. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that Your love is greater than any love I’ve ever known. Greater than my mother’s love. Greater than my Father’s love. Greater than my sister’s love. Greater than my brother’s love. Greater than my best friend’s love. Greater than my spouse’s love. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that You loved me before I was a twinkle in my parent’s eyes. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that no matter what I have done, you still love me. You may not be pleased with my actions or choices, but none-the-less, You still love me. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that I don’t have to be deserving of Your love but, You love me anyway. Remind me, Lord. I keep forgetting, that I don’t have to earn Your love. Remind me, Lord, I keep forgetting, that Your love has always been and will always be with me, whether I recognized it or not. Remind me, Lord, I keep forgetting, that Your love is unconditional. Remind me, Lord, I keep forgetting, that I can rely on Your love.

I will offer prayers for you and your family. Let’s hope that through it all your relationships will grow stronger and your faith bigger. God bless!

Kay, my heartfelt prayers for your family, and particularly for your niece and your unhappy nephew.

Jesus I ask Your powerful protection and healing for this young man who is profoundly wounded by the cavern he has inside, in his need for genuine, unconditional, and accepting love. Please keep Your Angels around him at all times, protecting him from all danger of any kind, and interceding for his wholeness and the life of his soul.
Jesus please also draw his sister into Your life.
Thank You, Jesus

I will pray for them, too.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trepasses, as we forgive those who trepass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.

Consecration of Families to the Sacred Heart
O most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Thou didst reveal to the blessed Margaret Mary Thy desire to rule over Christian families; behold, in order to please Thee, we stand before Thee this day, to proclaim Thy full sovereignty over our family. We desire henceforth to live Thy life, we desire that the virtues, to which Thou hast promised peace on earth, may flower in the bosom of our family; we desire to keep far from us the spirit of the world, which Thou hast condemned. Thou art King of our hearts by our love of Thee alone, with which our hearts are on fire and whose flame we shall nourish by frequent reception of the Holy Eucharist. Be pleased, O Sacred Heart, to preside over our gathering together, to bless our spiritual and temporal affairs, to ward off all annoyance from us, to bless our joys and comfort our sorrows. If any of us has ever been so unhappy as to fall into the misery of displeasing Thee, grant that he may remember, O Heart of Jesus, that Thou art full of goodness and mercy toward the repentant sinner. And when the hour of separation strikes and death enters our family circle, whether we go or whether we stay, we shall all bow meekly before Thine eternal decrees. This shall be our consolation, to remember that the day will come, when our entire family, once more united in heaven, shall be able to sing of Thy glory and Thy goodness forever. May the immaculate Heart of Mary and the glorious Patriarch Saint Joseph vouchsafe to offer Thee this our act of consecration, and to keep the memory thereof alive in us all the days of our lives.

Glory to the Heart of Jesus, our King and our Father! Amen.

Thank you so much for that beautiful prayer. I will be saying it often. In case I didn’t mention it Their names are Maria and Justin. Thank you for your continued prayer for these 2 very dear young people.:gopray2:

Continuing to pray for Maria and Justin.

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be
Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy Will be done,
on earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our
daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we
forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us
not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

I have learned today that Justin will go to court on Tues. March 23 @ 8:30 a.m. It is possible that he could be sent to a half way house instead of prison. I’m not sure what to pray for, I am putting it all in God’s hands. I also learned he was starting to go to church again. Regrettfully it was not Catholic. I do pray he will come back to the Catholic Church. Thank you all for helping me pray for Justin and his sister Maria. I will continue to keep you informed. Kay

A Prayer FOR A FAMILY

O dear Jesus, I humbly implore You to grant Your special graces to this family. May their home be the shrine of peace, purity, love, labor and faith. I beg You, dear Jesus, to protect and bless all of them particularly Justin, that tomorrow at court Your will be done for him and Jesus if it be Your will I ask You that Justin be moved to the halfway house instead of prison, where he may get the help he needs.Justin has suffered so much in his life please be merciful and surround him with Your infinite love.I pray he finds his way back to You.
O Mary, loving Mother of Jesus, and our Mother, pray to Jesus for this family, for Justin and Maria that they may come back to Our Blessed Lord
Blessed Saint Joseph, holy guardian of Jesus and Mary, assist us by your prayers in all the necessities of life. Ask of Jesus that special grace which He granted to you, to watch over Justin and Maria, so that with Mary and with you, heaven may find this family unbroken in the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
Amen.

Oh Mother of Perpetual Help, grant that I may ever invoke your powerful name, the protection of the living and the salvation of the dying. Purest Mary, let your name henceforth be ever on my lips. Delay not, Blessed Lady, to rescue me whenever I call on you. In my temptations, in my needs, I will never cease to call on you, ever repeating your sacred name, Mary, Mary. What a consolation, what sweetness, what confidence fills my soul when I utter your sacred name or even only think of you! I thank the Lord for having given you so sweet, so powerful, so lovely a name. But I will not be content with merely uttering your name. Let my love for you prompt me ever to hail you Mother of Perpetual Help. Mother of Perpetual Help, pray for me and grant me the favor I confidently ask of you.Mother Mary please intercede for Justin that he will not go to prison but instead a halfway house and he and Maria find their way back to God
(Then say three Hail Marys).
