My dad, Frank R., is 92 years old and has late stage dementia, plus a whole array of other physical ailments. He lives in a world of hallucinations. He is Catholic and does have faith but has not attended Mass for several years. He doesn’t have much time left on this earth. Please pray that through Divine Mercy he can somehow be in a state of grace, even though he doesn’t seem to be aware of his status, is disconnected from earthly reality, and can’t receive the sacrament of reconciliation.

Thank you for your prayers on his behalf.

Loving Father in heaven, although roseanneb’s Dad’s brain isn’t aware, in You, his spirit may be aware of You. I ask You, for love of Your Son Jesus who died for roseanneb’s Dad, please touch his spirit, his soul, and heal him of all that might keep him for You. Please remember all kind and good deeds of his life. Merciful Father, we commend him to You; and we place our trust in You for his future eternal happiness. Thank You, Father

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women, and blessed
is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners
now and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Lord be with this father and look kindly upon him in the state he is in. Be near to him and help him draw closer to You although it can’t be seen by us. We trust his care to you. Bring comfort to his children as well. Help them get a glimpse of what You have done so that they too may sense Your embrace and comfort in knowing their dad is being taken care of. In Jesus’ most precious name we ask, Amen.

My thoughts and prayers are with you both. God be with you and comfort you through this difficult transition.
