Prayers for my friend whose mother is dying

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Some weeks ago I prayed for a friend whose Dad “Reg” was dying. “Reg” died and was buried 8 weeks ago. Today, I heard what seemed almost incredible news from this same friend – God’s ways are surely mysterious! My friend wrote:
Prayers please for my mother. Having buried my father eight weeks ago, she is now terminally ill with about eight weeks to live. Hard to describe the grief, but there is immense comfort in the knowledge of the kingdom of Heaven.

Please join me in praying for this friend and brother in the Legion of Mary. I can only imagine his pain. His dear Mother also belongs to the Legion of Mary. Please keep them and all of their family and friends in your prayers. Thanks so much.

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into MariaChristi’s friends Mother’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
