Prayers for my friend!

A friend of mine committed suicide yesterday. She was suffering from deep depression. Please remember her (Linda) and her family in your prayers. I am still in a state of shock and cannot stop thinking about her. I was supposed to call her and go to lunch with her and…just can’t stop thinking. I worked on a psychiatric unit and understand about depression but that doesn’t make the pain stop. God have Mercy!
 
O God, we humbly beseech you through your
servant, Saint Dymphna, who sealed with her
blood the love she bore you, to grant relief to
those who sufer from mental afflictions such
as depression. We ask for the repose of
Linda’s soul. We pray for her friends and
family. Father, send your angel from heaven
to visit, comfort, and protect them as they
go through this terrible time in their lives.
Grant them peace and understanding.
We pray for all those who are affected by
mental illness, and ask for your Special
graces to be poured out upon them.
We ask this in the name of
Christ our Lord.
AMEN
 
May Linda’s soul, and the souls of all the faithfully departed,through the mercy of god rest in peace Amen

I will pray for Linda and her family/ friends at Mass and in my daily prayers, especially the Chaplet of Divine Mercy and Rosary.

May the Lord have mercy on Linda and on all the faithful departed during this month of November dedicated to the Souls in Purgatory.

Oh, my Jesus, forgive us our sins; Save us from the fires of hell; Lead all souls to Heaven, Especially those in most need of Thy Mercy.

Dear Mary Ann…
Very saddened by this tragic event which can bring great suffering to family and friends. Will keep Linda in prayer that The Lord will take her into His Eternal Peace and Joy and that He will bring healing and comfort to you and her family and friends and all affected at this tragic time of grief and loss…Barb
 
Thank you all for your prayers. It has been hard for everyone. My heart breaks for her husband, children and grandchildren. But, God is our comfort and through him we will find peace. Thank You, Jesus, for all that you are and all that you do!
