Dear Lord please help Peter’s neighbour who is lonely and depressed. Her family live far away and she feels she has nothing to live for. Please heal her pain and grant that she may feel your love for her in her every day life. Please guide her doctor to bring all the support she needs. Thank You Lord for hearing our prayers Amen

Eternal God , in whom mercy is endless,
and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Memorare (Prayer to Our Lady)
Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.
Inspired by this confidence, I fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. To you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer me. Amen

" There’s good news. We managed to get my neighbour to see her doctor this morning. The doctor was excellent. The first thing the doctor did was to change my friend’s medication. Then, right in the surgery she arranged for my neighbour to be placed on the books of a local organization called Crisis Team which is a mobile suicide-watch organization which operates 24/7 and visits people’s homes. They especially respond to emergency call-outs. Finally, the doctor made arrangements for my friend to have appointments with her every three days. The first will be this Friday, the next will be the following Monday and so on until further notice. She also brought forward the next appointment my neighbour is due to have with the cardiac team who operated on her. Really, the doctor couldn’t do more. To give her some space, I didn’t wait at the surgery for her to come out. But later on she phoned me on her mobile. By then she said she was sitting in Russell Square Gardens - a local beauty spot - and was having a coffee in the early Spring sunshine. She seemed more her old self and I am now greatly relieved!"

Thank You Lord!!!

Praying for her continued wellbeing…
O Christ Jesus When all is darkness And we feel our weakness and helplessness, Give us the sense of Your Presence, Your Love and Your Strength. Help us to have perfect trust In Your protecting love And strengthening power, So that nothing may frighten or worry us, For, living close to You, We shall see Your Hand, Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

Our Father, who art in Heaven,
Hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on Earth as it is in Heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace.
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit of thy womb,
Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God,
pray for us sinners,
now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

O Christ Jesus
When all is darkness
And we feel our weakness and helplessness,
Give us the sense of Your Presence,
Your Love and Your Strength.
Help us to have perfect trust
In Your protecting love
And strengthening power,
So that nothing may frighten or worry us,
For, living close to You,
We shall see Your Hand,
Your Purpose, Your Will through all things.

That is such a tragedy. I can’t imagine how lonely and depressed she must be to do something like that. She must feel that there is no goodness left in the world and that she has no more to give. I sincerely hope and pray that she may be reminded of the love of Christ, of the great sacrifice He gave for us, ensuring us the hope of eternal life and heavenly joy with Him, especially by the love shown to her by her loved ones and caretakers. I pray that she may see that in her sufferings, she is brought closer to Christ, her sins being burned away as she is filled more and more with God’s grace and love. I also pray that she may grow in love for others, using her pain to help others in their own difficulties. I pray for the forgiveness of all her sins, and for the alleviation of anything that may have caused her to do this. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, her guardian angel, and St. Therese of Lisieux. God bless. 🙂

Glad there’s hopeful news. Praying for her continued recovery.
May the Lord show her purpose and hope in her life.

*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen*

Thanks be to God…

O merciful Father, who hast taught us in thy holy Word that
thou dost not willingly afflict or grieve the children of men:
Look with pity upon the sorrows of thy servant for whom
our prayers are offered. Remember her, O Lord, in mercy,
nourish her soul with patience, comfort her with a sense of
thy goodness, lift up thy countenance upon her, and give
her peace; through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Heavenly Father, giver of life and health: Comfort and
relieve your servant and give your power of healing to
those who minister to her needs, that she may be strengthened in
her weakness and have confidence in your loving care; through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

O Lord, your compassion never fails and your mercies are
new every morning: We give you thanks for giving our
sister both relief from pain and hope of health
renewed. Continue in her, we pray, the good work you have
begun; that she, daily increasing in bodily strength, and
rejoicing in your goodness, may so order her life and conduct
that she may always think and do those things that please
you; through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Sanctify, O Lord, those whom you have called to the study
and practice of the arts of healing, and to the prevention of
disease and pain. Strengthen them by your life-giving Spirit,
that by their ministries the health of the community may be
promoted and your creation glorified; through
Jesus Christ our Lord.
Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.
