Prayers for my grandmother with leukemia

I am asking for prayers for my very sick grandmother, Santa, who is currently at the end of her battle with Lymphocytic Leukemia. I am currently living in London, and she is back in New York. The doctors say she has days, maybe a week left. I am scheduled to go home in 2 weeks - I am praying that I will be able to go home then and see her one last time while she is still with us. She is in and out of pain and it was hard to speak to her yesterday (which was her birthday). She was diagnosed at the beginning of this year and we thought we would have so much more time.

I’m also asking for prayers for my family for strength - that I have the strength to say goodbye to someone who has really touched my life. And lastly prayers for my mother, who is staying with her day and night by her side and going through this battle with her.

I pray for God’s peace for your grandmother, for you and for the rest of your family. I pray that God will continue to be merciful to your grandmother and that the Holy Spirit will comfort her. God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Santa). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Santa’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Prayer to St. Anthony for Those With Cancer

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Santa, who is suffering from cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of healing be granted to him. Comfort him during times of unbearable pain, and ask our Lord to grant him peace and patience in suffering. May God give him the fullness of life here on earth. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

Unfortunately, my grandma past away on the 26th August 2018. We held the wake and funeral for her last week - it was beautiful but devastating.

If you can continue prayers for me and my family to have the strength to let her go and faith that she is now in paradise, free from pain and with us always.

God bless you all that shared their prayers here or had her in their thoughts. We appreciate every word. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
