Prayers for my heart and thyroid

I have graves disease {A autoimmune form of hyperthyroid}.

It’s effecting my heart badly, and I’m having a lot of palpatations. It’s not behaving on meds either.

Please pray that this does not worsen and that it begins to be controlled with meds.
 
You and I are united with the sacred heart of Jesus, yet we both have damaged hearts ourselves. I will most certainly pray for yours. Would you pray for mine also? (corrective fallots tetralogy)

Some time ago, I read a wonderful story about Venerable Pauline Marie Jaricot, who suffered from terrible heart palpitations until her miraculous healing from God, through the intercession of St Philomena.

“Pauline Jaricot suffered from advanced heart disease which increased with time until her closest friends recognized that death was imminent. In March of 1835 , this illness had seriously affected her heart, and in proportion as it increased, the palpitations became so violent that they could be heard at a distance and caused her unmistakable agony. At this time Pauline decided to travel to Rome to seek an audience with the Pope and to get the Holy Father’s blessing (the ambition of her life) then on to Mugnano, where the relics of St. Philomena were enshrined, in hope of a cure …”

I have prayed for you. I, too, have had Graves Disease, and I know exactly what you are going through. There is hope: the disease can go into remission. If possible, see if you can receive the sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick.

please continue to pray - I have 2 days until my next appt and I’m trying desperately not to have to go to the hospital.

Extra prayers for my eyes would be great too - the thyroid is making them bulge out and be extremely painful.
 
Heavenly Father please grant easing of Dakota’s symptoms, and ensure she receives correct dose and type of medication to control her hyperthyroidism. Please calm her heart and protect her from worsening of her illness. I ask You in Jesus’ name. Jesus please give her a hug from us.

How I feel for you!
I have been recovering from acute thyroiditis since april 2007, and one phase is hyperthyroid; no fun!
I too have been on heart meds; it affected my whole body.
Thankfully I am almost 100% now with no meds, but I still have my ‘off days’ and cannot tolerate sressors.
You will be in my prayers for your complete healing.
Please do have yourself annointed by your pastor!
