Prayers for my husband please

Several weeks ago you were all so kind as to pray for some difficulties my husband was having at work. I mentioned then that he decided to leave teaching and pursue a career in law enforcement. He is supposed to know this week if he will be going on in the selection process. Would you all please pray for him this week?

My St Joseph patron of employment and husbands, be watching over him and take his concerns to the feet of his foster son Jesus. Amen.

St. Michael the Archangel, patron saint of police officers, please intercede on behalf of this man and his desire for a vocation to protect his community.

We still haven’t heard anything. I must admit that I have been very positive about this until the last few days. My confidence is waning and I am starting to worry a lot and have a lot of anxiety. Please continue your prayers. I hope we get an answer soon.

I am in the middle of my second Novena. This first was St. Michael, and this one is to the Sacred Heart.

Dear Father, had not Joseph been able to find work, first before his betrothal to Mary, then again as a refugee in Egypt, ad later again, in Nazareth, Your beloved Son Jesus and His holy Mother would have been without necessities. Please be mindful of this as You behold ElizaCatherine and her husband (and others) in their urgent need for income and stability of employmen.

St Joseph please pray for ElizaCatherine and her husband (and other unemployed people) that their efforts to find work will quickly be successful.

Blessed Mother who would have had no food to put on the table for the divine Son and your husband, please pray for them with all the concern with which You prayed at the wedding feast of Cana.

FOR SUCCESS IN WORK

model of all those who are devoted to labour,
obtain for me the grace to work conscientiously,

Still praying he finds work.
 
Thanks to all for your prayers. This situation has continued to degrade.
He has become quite depressed (I think) and very angry, especially with me.
I am now growing concerned about the condition of my marriage. I don’t know how to help him.

There is so much more to to say, but I am hesitant to share it in “public”.
 
Praying from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Prayers and Intercessions
