Prayers for my husband

NOVENA TO ST. RITA

O holy protectress of those who art in greatest need, thou who shineth as a star of hope in the midst of darkness, blessed Saint Rita, bright mirror of God’s grace, in patience and fortitude thou art a model of all the states in life. I unite my will with the will of God through the merits of my Savior Jesus Christ, and in particular through his patient wearing of the crown of thorns, which with tender devotion thou didst daily contemplate. Through the merits of the holy Virgin Mary and thine own graces and virtues, I ask thee to obtain my earnest petition, provided it be for the greater glory of God and my own sanctification. Guide and purify my intention, O holy protectress and advocate, so that I may obtain the pardon of all my sins and the grace to persevere daily, as thou didst in walking with courage, generosity, and fidelity down the path of life.

and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided.

I have just found out my husband is using drugs. I am not sure but I think crack cocaine.
He has been drinking a lot lately and smoking cigarettes all day too.

He’s always liked beer and would smoke a cigarette every now and then but things are getting out of control.

I am praying the rosary for his conversion, and I pray to God, my Mother Mary and St. Joseph. I have thought about fasting but I am 3 months pregnant and my stomach upsets so easily.

I guess I am asking for someone to spare some prayers for my husband. he is not Catholic, but this is not the man I met. I tried to confront him about the drugs and he says he is not, and he got mad at me for accusing him. I have found different objects to ‘snort’ and smoke the drug and even a tiny empty bag. I don’t know how to talk to him. He tried to make it my fault.
He needs prayer. He needs help. He has no ‘good’ friends to talk him out of doing bad things. Our family is in the US. We are in Mexico.

Please pray for us, we have a 2 year old son. I am on bedrest and these problems are starting to sink me into depression. I need help, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Please pray for us.

I have seen a change in our relationship lately. I know its because of my prayers, my parents’ prayers and all the prayers I have received on here. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for all your help. God bless you all.
