Hi Sue -

Back from the dentist now, but believe it or not I thought about you and your family on the long walk I had through the park to get there and come back, and the little funeral you were having as I made my way over there. I know exactly what you mean about the foil ball, my parents currently have a cat who will come running if she hears aluminum foil, as there is the possibility of it being made into a fun toy. That and the catnip from the garden were really nice things for you to do.

Again, I know you are sad but I am grateful that you have reached out to me and to others on here even in the midst of your sadness to offer your own prayers. I hope God gives you comfort and relief.:heaven:

Thank you all. We buried him this morning, along with a piece of catnip from the garden, as well as an aluminum foil ball (both things he LOVED when he was younger… just the sound of crumpling foil would send him into a playing frenzy and he’d bat the thing all over the house!)

THANK YOU!

Sue
St Gertrude of Nivelles, intercede for RandA who has lost a dear little kitty friend. Amen.
I pray that your whole family may be comforted at this sad time. Bless you for taking such loving care of Reesie at the end of his life. I am sure he was greatly comforted by your loving presence.:console: :console:
