Lord, look upon me with eyes of mercy,

Healing Novena

To Christ the Great Physician
We know that there is one physician:
Both flesh and spirit
uncreated, yet born
God in man
True life in death
From both Mary and From God
Subject to suffering and then impassible
Jesus Christ our Lord!

We ask O Great Physician, for spiritual, physical, and emotional healing, (especially my intention of Mary for healing of her liver).
You of both flesh and spirit

May we spend all of our days in your healing presence
You the eternal Son born for us

Grant us the healing benefits of your Incarnation, Death, and Resurrection
You who are true God and true man

Grant us your true life in the midst of death
You, the true life in death

Grant us to follow your example and that of your Blessed Mother
You, from both Mary and from God

May our suffering be for our growth; free us, we pray, from that which we cannot bear
We ask You, O God the Word who became man to suffer

We ask you to grant us this healing if it brings us closer to you,
Jesus Christ our Lord!

Thank you all so much…I have a little more energy today and plan on using it in long hours of prayer.😃
PRAYER OF ST. GREGORY THE GREAT
Acclaim To The Suffering Christ
O Lord, You received affronts
without number from Your blasphemers,
yet each day You free captive souls
from the grip of the ancient enemy.

You did not avert Your face
from the spittle of perfidy,
yet You wash souls in saving waters.

You accepted Your scourging without murmur,
yet through your meditation
You deliver us from endless chastisements.

You endured ill-treatment of all kinds,
yet You want to give us a share
in the choirs of angels in glory everlasting.

You did not refuse to be crowned with thorns,
yet You save us from the wounds of sin.

In your thirst You accepted the bitterness of gall,
yet You prepare Yourself to fill us with eternal delights.

You kept silence under the derisive homage
rendered You by Your executioners,
yet You petition the Father for us
although You are his equal in Divinity.

You came to taste death,
yet You were the Life
and had come to bring it to the dead.

Amen.

Thank you all so much. My liver condition will improve once I have surgery to help me lose weight. I am a candidate for surgery and will need many months of medical attention before the surgery takes place. I ask that you pray that I have an easier time of going through surgery than I’ve had in the past with only diet and exercise to control my weight that is causing this health problem. Thank you all, and God bless.

UNFAILING PRAYER TO
ST. ANTHONY # 2

O good and gentle St. Anthony,
your love of God
and concern for His creatures made you worthy,
while on earth,
to possess miraculous powers.
Come to my help
in this moment of trouble and anxiety.
your ardent love of God
made you worthy to hold the Holy infant in your arms.
Whisper to Him my humble request,

State your request here…that my surgery and pre surgical evaluations and tests go smoothly. And that I be cured of my health issues.

if it be for the greater glory of God,
and the salvation of my soul.

Amen.

For your intentions…

O Jesus, You suffered and died for us;
You understand suffering;
Teach me to understand my suffering as You do;
To bear it in union with You;
To offer it with You to atone for my sins
And to bring Your grace to souls in need.
Calm my fears; increase my trust.
May I gladly accept Your holy will
and become more like You in trial.
If it be Your will,
restore me to health
so that I may work for Your honor and glory
and the salvation of all men.
Amen.

Mary, help of the sick, pray for me. Amen
