Prayers for my Mom

Hello Brothers and Sisters in Christ

Because I am unable to walk anymore for exercise and depression, I have to swim.

I am an excellent swimmer and am just as good now that I do not move my legs when I “doggy paddle”.

My parents own a cottage on a lake. My Mom took me there to swim today.

She thought I had swum across the lake but I decided to instead go along the shore where it was warmer.

She started looking for me early and thought I had drowned.

I know that she overreacted but she is still very very very shaken up.

Plus she is coming down now with an awful cold.

And she worries so much abot my health. which is why she overreacted I believe.

Can you please say a little prayer – that she feels better mentally and physically?

And also for my father.

I promise to remember all of your intentions in my prayers tonight as always.

God, grant me the courage to change the things I can change,
the serenity to accept those I cannot change,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
But God, grant me the courage not to give up on what I think is right,
even though I think it is hopeless.

Lord, I lift up to you in prayer, VitoJoseph and his parents. I pray Lord, that his mother may be given the peace to not worry so much about her son.
