prayers for my mom

hey guys. i was hoping someone here might pray for my mother. she’s an alcoholic and very depressed and has been like this for a few years. she’s just now going to try and get help on monday, so if anyone wants to take the time to pray for her, it would be greatly appreciated. :o

Praying for your Mom and I’ll remember her especially on Monday.
 
Our Lady of Sorrows,

please look upon this mother with your kindness. Please intercede for her and ask your Son to show himself to her. Bring her to knowledge of herself and Jesus, which you are always pointing to for all of us. We pray that her torments will be suspended so that she may gain control of herself. May she see in you, Mary, a role model for handling the sorrows that the enemy uses to drive her to addiction. Peace be with this mother, and blessings to this child for asking help for her and honoring her as she can. Amen.

**O Jesus, we come to You with this woman who has now admitted she has a problem with alcohol. We ask You to send angels from heaven to comfort and protect her as she struggles with overcoming this addiction. We Beg of you to help her.
