My mother was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. She had surgery last week to remove the tumor. It went well, and they are testing to see if she will benefit from chemo.

Prayers said for your mother. I am glad things went well and will pray for her continued recovery and to be cancer free. My own mother just finished radiation therapy for breast cancer and is doing quite well.

Dear St. Anthony, you recognized Our Lord Jesus as the Divine Healer. In your goodness and kindness, please intercede for Viktorpope’s mother, who has cancer. If it is God’s will, may the gift of complete healing be granted to her – and may she be spared from chemotherapy. May God give her the fullness of health here on earth so that she can serve Your Church and inspire others. Through Christ Our Lord, Amen.

A Prayer to St. Peregrine for Sick Relatives and Friends
O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”, “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years, you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being.
You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. We now ask God to heal these sick persons, especially Viktorpope’s dear mother, whom we entrust to you.
Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy.
