I would like to ask you to please remember my nephew, Nathan, who departed for boot camp today. Nathan has not had an easy life and like many of us has made many bad decisions along the way. Please pray that he will find his path towards manhood, stay true to our Faith, and stay safe and well as he works towards his new career in the U.S. Army.

Thank you,
Ann

You bet. I will pray for him and his safety.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Dear Lord watch over and protect Ann Chovy’s nephew and all the children of all our American families and allied force’s families children in Iraq and Afghanistan and end this war peacefully and change the hearts and minds of these terrorists to accept Jesus and be Catholics and turn away from their evil ways . Father, we beg of you to make our soldiers
model citizens and model Christians.
Protect our soldiers at all times.
Make them strong, just, and charitable,
always aiming at establishing peace on earth.
We ask all of this in the name of Jesus.
WE TRUST IN YOU JESUS!
AMEN

I pray for Nathan to have a good career. I’m a firm believer in the miliary and the good impact in can have on the young. We have a lot of military in my family, including me at one time, and all have benefited from it and are upstanding citizens.

I will add Nathan to my prayer list!

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for Nathan, now and at the hour of his death.

Dear Ann,

My family will keep Nathan and your family in our prayers. I come from a military family, dad in the Marines for 20 years, and although it is a meritorious thing to do for one’s country and one’s self, it can be scary for us civilians at home. My brother was like Nathan and went into the Marines. He is a much better man for it!

Dear Lord,

Keep Nathan strong and safe in his brave endeavor. May the angels remain always by his side. St. Michael keep Nathan in your arms and show him the ways of the soldier. AMEN.
In Christ’s Peace,
Kathleen

Praying that Nathan will stay true to the Faith and stay safe … Praying for all our military and for Peace everywhere…

I’d just like to offer an update and request continued prayers for Nathan as he completes his training.

Last week he graduated from Boot Camp and my DH and I were able to see him graduate. What a changed man he is! Actually, it would be more accurate to say that he has grown into a man. He looked us in the eyes, he spoke clearly and with resolve, and he has returned to calling himself a Christian, though he was vague on whether or not he considered himself Catholic.

I know your prayers helped him on this journey and thank you all for remembering him.

What a blessing he is to all of us!!! I’m so proud for you!!! I will continue to pray for him.

I ask God to keep Nathan safe in every way, and to bless him in all he does. May God’s will be done in his life, and may he return to the fullness of faith. Thanks be to God.
