prayers for my sister please!

This morning my sister was rushed to the hospital after being ill all night ( her husband is out of town and she didn’t call my parents until 8 this morning:()… she is now being admitted and they suspect a pancreas problem and it is pretty serious. My sister doesn’t complain much and usually suffers through pain that would make a grown man cry but this is making her scream:(. Please keep her in your prayers.
 
Oh my! Be sure I am praying for your sister Malia. Let us know how she’s doing.
 
Thank you all. Right now we are trying to contact her husband because she may need surgery… he is military and training about 6 hours away. I will post updates.
 
**We finally tracked down her hubby and he is in the middle of trying to find a way back…hopefully tonight…

sis was just transferred to a different hospital and will be seeing a gastroenterologist(sp???) hopefully soon. Right now she is on meds that have taken the edge off the pain and will be observed. If she doesn’t worsen she will be sent home in the morning.

She had a similar attack a few weeks ago which was attributed to bad deli meat but may have been a pancreas attack instead…

You spelled that word very well by the way. I have suffered with Crohn’s for 20 years so that word has been branded on stomach!:rolleyes:

Thank you so much. I think that the power of prayer has been one of the things that has most amazed me since my conversion…now I think I’m addicted:o I hope God doesn’t mind me being a prayer-hog

**Her hubby will be back tonight, hopefully by midnight. Doc is calling for some tests first thing in the morning…that’s all we know right now. I know she’s miserable right now though because, not only is she is pain, she is stuck in the ER because there aren’t any open beds/rooms and she may be there all night.

Thank God this happened on a long weekend when my dad was still home since my mom doesn’t drive to the side of the city the hospital is at…
