Please pray for my sister… she’s in college and is hitting a traumatic time in her life. Her boyfriend (they were together over a year) just broke up with her (she has no idea why… they never fought)… and things seem to be spiraling downward for her… she’s really depressed and everything is piling up. She doesn’t have many friends at college and she’s over 4 hours away from family… feels very isolated and alone.
I talked to her today and she’s just constantly in tears…

Please keep her in your prayers… thanks & God bless!

Praying from today’s Liturgy of the Hours:

Psalm 118 (119): 145-152

I call on you with all my heart – answer me, Lord. I will obey your laws.
I call on you, save me so that I can keep your decrees.

At dawn I cry to you, I put all my hope in your word.
In the night I keep watch, pondering your sayings.

In your mercy, Lord, hear my voice; in your justice, give me life.
My persecutors come to do me harm: they are far from your law.

But you, Lord, are near to me, and you are trustworthy in all your precepts.
From the beginning I have known your decrees, how you have made them to last for ever.

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be,
world without end.
Amen.

So many prayers for her happiness! College is such a hard time and going through a break up on top of that! Prayers for the Holy Spirit to guide her

Remembering your sister in my prayers, that our loving Father may grace her with patience to bear her sufferings, comfort, guidance and healing, that she may emerge from these hardships a fortified and generous woman.

You sister will be in my prayers.***

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

God bless you +

Emily, I’ll keep your sister in my prayers. College often brings difficult issues and changes into one’s life and I pray that your sister gets through the painful difficulties soon and regains joy in life. God bless her, and you…Trishie
