She is doing what it takes for our family to reunite, but is weary of being unable to sustain it - of doing the same that she has, again, of her old demons coming back.

I owe you an update - everything is going as well as one could hope after four years of separation, but this is going to be a long and difficult road.
The greatest difficulty we are facing is - that my wife be converted. She feels strongly against anything Catholic (or christian in general), and wants nothing to do with it - so I pray for her conversion. Her worldview is very self-centered - it runs counter to her better self, and she is quite confused.
I am very grateful that I am getting to have deep conversations with her, however difficult it might be for me to see where she stands - I want nothing more than her to one day praise God with the Saints and the Angels.
If you may, do pray for her conversion -

The Apostles are the foundation and we are built on them. Let us pray to the almighty Father for his holy people:
may we be his witnesses, to the very ends of the earth.

Father, you sent your Son to sow the seed of the word:

Let the scales from her eyes be removed, just as Paul’s were. Please, Father, do not cease in pouring out Your mercies for those who have yet to know you.
Holy Spirit, descend upon her and fill her heart with the fire of the Lord. Grant her faith and courage, and continue to strengthen her so that she may believe with a heart unhindered. Amen.
Blessed Virgin, who was made cause for our salvation by obedience and love, grant your most special mercies for Sandra, and pray with us for her conversion.
