I have made a topic before requesting prayers for conception due to my wife’s and my infertility. I would like to thank everyone for their prayers in that topic. My wife is now pregnant! We have never been confirmed pregnant in five years of being open to life and trying (we were not practicing Catholics until three years ago, we know Church teaching on this topic now). It is still very early in the pregnancy – only a little more than five weeks – and we understand that there remain significant risks to the health of the pregnancy.
Please pray for my wife and unborn child, both for their health and for the strength to accept God’s will in our lives.
In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Our Father, who art in heaven. hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are thou amongst women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit. As it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end.
Amen.
