Prayers for Northern Alabama/Southern Tennessee

Things are looking pretty crazy down here in Northern Alabama. Tornados seem to be popping up all over, storms are getting stronger and stronger, and we’re getting flash floods. Thank the Lord that my family and I are okay but we are expecting the worst storms in just a little bit.

Eternal Father I offer you the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Your dearly Beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ in atonement of our sins and those of the whole world.

Thanks for all of the prayers guys,

I know we have at least one member from Cullman and they just had a pretty bad tornado move through a little bit ago.

Jesus, who stilled the storm that alarmed Your apostles, please calm the wild weather that threatens lives, homes, and livelihoods.

Dear Father have mercy on the people of Northern Alabama and Southern Tennessee as they endure tornados, storms and floods. Grant protect lives and the homes and livelihoods of all the people. Protect also your servants from all harm. + Amen

We need to keep praying because a lot of people will have a lot to deal with in the aftermath of those storms. I’m staying with my sister in this area (Anniston, AL) and I’m very happy to say that we’re safe, but the damage photos in the local paper look horrendous.

Remember, O most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided. Inspired by this confidence, we fly unto you, O Virgin of virgins, our Mother. To you do we come, before you we stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word incarnate, despise not our petitions but, in your mercy, hear and answer us. Amen.

Just wanted to write that we are safe. Right down the street from my house was flattened. I’m not sure whether they have electricity or running water right now as I’ve gone a little south of Birmingham. Thanks for all of the prayers, we need more especially Tuscaloosa where quite a lot of the city was hit and flattened.
 
A Prayer:

O Divine Child of Prague,
and still the great omnipotent God,
I implore through thy Most Holy Mother’s most powerful intercession
and through the boundless mercy of Thy omnipotence as God,
for a favorable answer to the intention I so earnestly ask. That those affected
by the storms find comfort in Your arms, and assistance in their needs.

Both the morning and evening storms missed us. We’re fine, generating our own electricity. Feel really bad for the folks who are really suffering, mega-prayers for them.

Lord send down your Spirit and renew the face of the Earth. I pray for the families who are suffering great loss at this time. Lord you calmed the storm, and you master the seas, strengthen them Father, please hear the cries of your children.

Father, please help your people as they rebuild their lives. Comfort the ones who have not only suffered loss of their homes, but also the tragic loss of family members and loved ones.
Give each one the strength to go on, and hope for the future in your name, Amen
