Prayers for November Elections - a Novena?

When the Lisbon Treaty was up for a vote by the Irish people,
Father Benedict Groeschel suggested on EWTN a novena to God the Father for the defeat of that dangerous Treaty in Ireland.
Many of us made the Novena, and it was defeated.

May I suggest a Novena to God the Father
for the defeat of pro-Abortion forces
in this coming November’s United States of America elections?
It certainly couldn’t hurt.

May God bless you for your work in defending the unborn and all the innocent victims of this culture of death. Are you going to post a Novena yourself, starting and ending dates? Count me in!
 
Dear Lord open the eyes and hearts of the candidates running for President and let them promote and change these laws favoring abortion and stop the destruction of babies in the womb . I thank you Lord for this, in the name of Jesus, amen . LORD HEAR OUR PRAYERS ! , your brother in Christ, John

Please petition our Lord Jesus to assist us in overcoming this culture of death by inspiring the American people with His Holy Spirit to elect candidates who are pro-life.
Please inspire all candidates to recognize the Truth about abortion.

I would suggest that all who want to pray a novena to God the Father for a prolife victory across-the-board in November’s USA elections,
might start the Novena on this coming Sunday, June 29th and continue it for nine days.

Start with the sign of the Cross.
Pray any sincere prayer to God the Father, in our own words,
begging him to defeat the proAbortion forces in the United States of America’s November 2008 elections.
Then pray
3 Our Fathers
3 Hail Mary’s and
3 Glory Be’s
conclude with the sign of the Cross.
