That our Lord will guide our newly elected officials when they go into office.

That the unborn will be protected by those officials who are pro abortion.For for all women who are single and pregnant (we need spiritual support for them so they can consider adoption instead of destroying a life.)

That they will still uphold moral teachings in public schools, esp. on lifestyles, and for the citizens of this country.

May God be with us.
 
So that God might guide the new leader of our Nation. I pray for an opening of his heart to life at all stages. I pray for all people, around the world, who will be affected by our decision tonight. Please, Mary, Holy Mother of God, Pray for us.

Praying , with sorrowful heart , but praying …

God of all consolation,
in Your unending Love and Mercy for us,
You turn the darkness of death into the dawn of new life.
Show compassion to Your people in Sorrow.
Be our refuge and our strength to lift us
from the darkness of this grief
to Peace and Joy in Your presence.
We ask this through Christ, our Lord.
Amen
 
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion
Have Mercy on us and on the whole world!

Especially, I pray for mercy and conversion of those who voted in support of the culture of death.
 
I am saddened to hear that Obama is the President-elect tonight. I may be Canadian, but this affects everybody not just Americans. I pray for all you Americans, especially for the ones who don’t realize how he is sooo anti-life. :eek: :crying: ::grouphug:

Yes, our country needs prayers now more than ever. I am so fearful that Obama will sign in to law the Freedom of Choice Act and make abortions much more common place. 😦
