My DH and I are both looking for jobs come May (I’ll graduate college then and we can relocate to a different city). Please keep our job searches in your prayers. I need a temp job as Baby is coming in August, DH is looking for a full-time job. So far he’s gotten no interviews or anything. Same with me.

I’m trying not to get overly worked up but this afternoon I had a bit of a crying meltdown, so an extra prayer or two for my sanity would be much appreciated.

Thank you and God bless! :gopray:

O Lord, please watch over mylo, her husband, and their baby. Provide for them all that they need, so that they may feel peace and comfort in Your arms. Lead them to the interviews that You have prepared for them, and grant them the jobs that You want them to have. In Jesus name we pray.

Praying for God to lead you both to the perfect jobs and also praying to St, Gerard that you will have a good and safe delivery and for the baby also.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name.
Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us, and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Praying you both find jobs, and for a healthy, happy, stress free, safe pregnancy.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.

Praying that you are both led to the jobs
that the Father has in store for you.

Keeping you in prayer with St. Joseph The Worker re the searching for jobs and may The Lord grant you rest from anxiety …hoping things on all fronts will unfold very happily for you both…

My deepest apologies for bumping this out of the blue, but I figured I would post an update…thank you all for your prayers thus far. DH has applied for over 20 jobs and still has not received one. He has had one interview but unfortunately, did not get the position. I also am unemployed, but considering how pregnant I am, DH and I decided to end my job search until after Elise gets here.

The Diocese has opened two positions that have benefits and are salaried. He’s already applied for one and if he is to get an interview, we will be notified by the end of the week. Please keep praying - even if he gets an interview but not a position would be better than rejection letters or worse, no notification period. I know God will not let us hang, especially with Elise coming and not give us a way to provide for her. We just have to keep on trusting and praying (and applying for jobs), but sometimes we just have rough days (don’t we all).

Thank you all for your prayers. I know God hears them all.

:blessyou:

Dear Lord, please strengthen mylo and her husband as they prepare to bring Elise into this world or Yours. Lead mylo’s husband to the best job that will allow him to use his skills to the best of his ability. In Jesus name we pray.

Holy Spirit please ensure that one of these Diocesan positions is given to Mylo’s husband. Don’t let this opportunity pass him by; let him shine as the right candidate. Please give strength and comfort to Mylo and grant many blessings to her husband and her, and little Elise
