Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from
the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Marlie). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Marlie’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen

Thank you to each and every one of you who has taken the time and shown love by praying for this little animal.

The IV fluids ended up putting her into a suspected heart failure and the doctors said there wasn’t much more they could do for her. Refusing to put her down once again, I took her home on July 12th. I was told she probably wouldn’t make it more than a couple of days. She’s been home for three days now and although I wish I could say she’s 100% better, she’s still quite sick. Not only am I going to ask for your continued prayers for this little creature of God, but I would also like to praise Him because it’s been 10 days since we thought we’d had our last day with her. She is still with us and she’s still fighting. Every day with her is a precious gift and I will continue to treat her as best I can so long as she’s willing to live. Thanks be to God for each day spent with this kitten and thank you to all of you who have been praying. Please continue to pray that her health improves and that I am guided to nurture her in the best way possible. <3 Praise to you, Lord Jesus Christ.

Dear Jesus, Please continue to help this little one and her family. Please don’t let Marlie suffer; if it gets too much for her, please take her to Heaven where she can be well and happy with you. Please bless and comfort her human caregivers at this time, and her owner who is serving her country far away. Jesus, King of Mercy, I trust in You to do what is best for Marlie. In Your name I humbly pray. Amen.

Thank you kindly for your prayers. She is trying to be so strong, but she is still very sick and weak. Yesterday, we found that she had fluid in her lungs. Her heart and kidneys are continuing to work against one another. Please, please lift her up in your prayers. She’s been home with me for almost a week and I am giving her all of my love and attention. I just pray that God is leading me to nurture her in the best way possible.

our human ties with our friends of other species
is a wonderful and special gift from You.
We now ask You to grant our special animal companions
Your Fatherly care and healing power
to take away any suffering they have.
Give us, their human friends,
new understanding of our responsibilities
to these creatures of Yours.
They have trust in us as we have trust in You;
We are on this earth together
to give one another friendship, affection, and caring.
