I’m at a point in my life where a lot is going on and well… everything is working out. I mean, everything. Job, school, finances, dating, personal goals… everything is clicking. It’s wonderful.

So, first and foremost, I want to thank God for my material successes.

Secondly, I can feel impatience and pride trying to slip their way into me. I don’t want to become ungracious. I want to keep a firm hold on my contentment and trust in the Lord. Pray for me to be my Mother’s son.
 
Lord, with gratitude we approach your throne. Please hear these intentions for TK421. Lead this soul through all these life’s enterprises as occasions of loving you and serving the Church. Instill in him many graces for faith, hope, love, joy, humility, patience, wisdom, courage, and understanding. Send angels to guard him always from any temptation and to lead him ever toward the eternal garden of life. Let not the wiles of this fallen world ever near him. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

Jesus, we know that none of us are 100% humble, for we are clothed in these mortal, fallible bodies. But we do know that you are completely humble and we look to you as our example. As we clothe ourselves in your righteousness we can overcome the pride that is ever before us. We recognize that no good thing can come from us, but all that is good comes from you. Remind us daily that gratitude is the antidote for feelings of pride. When we acknowledge that everything we have and all that we are is due to your merciful blessings we are humbled and grateful to you, the Giver of every good and perfect gift.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon TK421 in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give
  • be always with her.
    And, help her to bring this
    same Peace into the lives
    of others.
Our Lady of Mental Peace,
  • Pray for us!
    Amen.
Jesus, Help Me!

In every need let me come to You with humble trust,
saying:
Jesus, help me!
In all my doubts, perplexities, and temptations:
Jesus, help me!
In hours of loneliness, weariness and trials:
Jesus, help me!
In the failure of my plans and hopes, in disappointments,
troubles and sorrows:
Jesus, help me!
When others fail me, and Your Grace alone can assist me:

When I throw myself on Your tender Love as Savior:
Jesus, help me!
When my heart is cast down by failure, at seeing no good
come from my efforts:

When I feel impatient, and my cross irritates me:

When I am ill, and my head and hands cannot work and
I am lonely:
Jesus, help me!

Always, always, in spite of weakness, falls and short-

Holy Virgin Mary, you are reigning in glory, with Jesus, your Son.
Remember us in our sadness. Look kindly on all who are suffering
or fighting against any difficulty.
Have pity on those who are separated from someone they love.
Have pity on the loneliness of our hearts.
Have pity on the weakness of our faith and love.
Have pity on those who are weeping, on those who are praying, on those who are fearful.
Holy Mother, please obtain for all of us hope and peace with justice.

Mary, we ask you in a special way to look out for your servant, TK421. May they always stay little and humble, meek and patient, pure and wise in the ways of perfection. We ask this through your Son. Amen.

*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen*
