Father Rubén Alcántara Díaz was murdered in Mexico shortly before Mass. Please pray for his soul and for his attackers.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
 
I’m praying for him. May the Lord have mercy upon him and may He bring the murderer(s) to justice.

Prayer for Police Officers

O Almighty God,
Whose great power and eternal
Wisdom embraces the universe,
Watch over law enforcement
officers everywhere.

Protect them from harm
In the performance of their duty
To stop crime, robbery, riots, and violence.

We pray, help them keep our streets
And homes safe, day and night.

We commend them to your loving care
Because their duty is dangerous.

Grant them strength and courage
In their daily assignments.

Dear God, protect these brave men and women.
Grant them Your almighty protection.
Unite them safely with their families
after duty has ended.

Most of all, let us pray for the police officers
investigating the murder of Father Rubén.

We ask this through Christ Our Lord, amen. ✝️

Praying for your intention. And for all the murdered priests there. Since the beginning of the current Mexican administration in 2012 there has been 22 priests murdered there, according to a news source.
