Hello! My husband and I have recently separated. I am devastated. I am praying that this time apart will help us heal our marriage. Please pray that we use this time wisely, and that God touch my husband’s heart so that he will be open to working on our marriage. Our daughter needs her father! Prayers needed for our reconcilation.
 
I will also pray for your marriage, for your husband, for you and your daughter. May you all receive the Spirit of Conciliation and Comfort.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

O Lady of Mental Peace,
Mother of Tranquility
and Mother of Hope,
look upon Joyish in this time
of weakness and unrest.

Teach her searching heart
to know that God’s Love
for her is unchanging and
unchangeable, and, that
true human love can only
begin and grow by touching
His Love.

Let your gentle Peace -
which this world cannot give

For Help in Trials

Most holy apostle St. Jude, faithful servant and friend of Jesus, the name of the traitor who delivered your beloved Master into the hands of His enemies has caused you to be forgotten by many. But the Church honors and invokes you universally as the patron of hopeless cases–of things despaired of. Pray for me who feels so hopeless. Make use, I implore you, of that particular privilege accorded to you of bringing visible and speedy help where help is almost despaired of. Come to my assistance in this great need, that I may receive the consolations and succor of heaven in all my necessities, tribulations and sufferings, in particular Joyish, and that I may bless God with you and all the elect throughout eternity. I promise you, O Blessed St. Jude, to be ever mindful of this great favor, and I will never cease to honor you as my special and powerful patron, and to do all in my power to encourage devotion to you. Amen.
 
I am truly sorry for everything you and your family are going through. Obviously I don’t and shouldn’t know the specifics of your situation, but I hope that any issues between you and your husband can be shared openly and calmly with one another, and perhaps also with a priest who could give an objective view of the issues. If it’s only your husband who is closed to the marriage, I truly pray that God will soften his heart and remind him of the love and commitment he shared with you at your wedding. I also pray that you and your family may find the strength, courage, humility and mercy to work through your issues and endure the pain of the separation. I ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, your and your families’ guardian angels, and St. Therese of Lisieux. God bless. 🙂

The following prayer helped me in my time of need. I will be praying for your intentions.

Heavenly Father,

Thank you for this day and the people you have put into my life. Father, thank you for my beloved spouse and children. Thank you for the love you have for me and the forgiveness you have given me. Thank you for your Son, who lives in me.

Lord, thank you for the love you have poured into my heart. Your unconditional love overflows my heart. You know my heart Lord and the depths of the love I had for my spouse. I pray that you will pour your abundant blessings upon him and me. My spouse is a very special person to me, who I loved and still love dearly and thought I’d never forsake. I know that his past had wounded my heart, and I need your help to heal it and take away the things that keep me from loving him as you would have me do. Lord, I pray that you will continue to change me and make me into the wife, and mother you would have me be. Lord, I know my spouse caused my heart to harden. Lord Jesus, I pray that you will soften my heart and lead me back to you and him. I know he believes in you as do I. Lord, your word has shown us what you would have us do and that you want us to stay together and forgive and reconcile. Lord, I pray that we will both submit to your will and reconcile. I pray that you will heal and restore our marriage.

Lord, I lift up other hurting marriages to you. Father, marriage and our spouses are gifts from you. I pray that you will touch all of our hearts and bring us closer to you. Bring our spouses close to you. Restore our marriages so that we may be one as you have shown us in your word.

+Prayer For Healing After Separation Or Divorce+

O loving and creating God, bless families hurting with the pain of separation or divorce. We know that when two people are married, they mean it for life. Yet, at times, with some people, and in some very complex situations, it just doesn’t happen that way.

Give peace and courage to all who have experienced the disruption caused by divorce or separation. Help them to accept their feelings of rejection, loneliness and grief.

Help them, above all, to believe in Your presence, and to believe in the Church as a source of strength and compassion.

Help all of us to be sensitive to emotional, spiritual and physical needs of children who have divorced or separated parents. Enable us to reach out in love. May our priests be aware of the pain of separated and divorced parishioners and always welcome them in parish spiritual and social activities.

Especially we pray, O God, that as we continue to recognize Jesus in the “breaking of the bread”, we will carry Jesus with us and reach out to all our separated and divorced families with love, compassion and understanding. Amen.
