Hello all.

I was engaged to a man. we ended our relationship two months ago.
During this process, I have been humbled and have/continue to work on myself. Thanks to the help of God, and my spiritual advisor, I know that I must apologize to my ex for my wrong doings. I wrongly edified to my ex during our relationship. He is a cradle Catholic but was raised in a secular home. He was open to coming to the church but that wasn’t good enough for me…I wanted him to be a Knight of Columbus, etc etc. Although it was done with the best of intentions, I scared him off.
I have asked for forgiveness from my God, church and now I must tell him how very sorry I am. He has started to contact me.
Although I would love for us to have another opportunity, I need to leave that to God.
We are supposed to meet after he returns from his training and vacation.
If you can please join me in prayer that we meet and that I have the opportunity to look him in the eyes and ask for forgiveness.
That God be at our meeting and grace us with an open heart and I selfishly hope, forgiveness.
I also want to ask for openness to US but again, That will be God’s loving will. I want what God wants. But I do pray for that too…I can’t help it. I love him.
Please pray for me.

Praying for God’s will to be.
 
Relax! If you really love him you mustn’t try to change him. Apart from being futile, it could drive him away. Try to keep things light for a while. Enjoy being together and if it is God’s will that the relationship will grow - it will.
