For months I’ve had dry, itchy skin and I just thought it was that. Lately, I’ve gotten these nasty patches on my thighs that are scabs. I’ve tried so many different lotions, creams, soap, ect. and I’ve had no luck. I’m not sure if I have psoriasis (which runs in my family), ezcema or if it’s something that could even be related to diabetes, which really scares me. I’m unemployed and unisured, if I get a doctor’s appointment it would be months because I’m a new patient and this process takes a while and my old doctor is retired. I’d really like prayers to be healed from this.

Catholic spirituality is the spiritual practice of living out a personal act of faith including praying at church and also private prayer. The Holy Bible teaches that we should pray everywhere including devotions such as the Rosary, Litanies, Novenas and prayers such as the Prayer for Skin diseases to St. Peregrine.

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty,” “The Wonder-Worker,” because of the numerous miracles which you have obtained from God for those who have had recourse to you. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being, and who had recourse to the source of all grace when the power of man could do no more. You were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His Cross to heal your affliction. Ask of God and Our Lady, the cure of the sick whom we entrust to you. Prayer for a Miracle

God of all creation, you who spoke a simple command and brought forth light from

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (Little Lamb). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by

speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.

You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from

the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into Little Lamb’s

body and give the strength to fight this

illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
