Please pray for my brother. He is addicted to smoking and does not want to stop, but I am worried about him because it is bad for his health. Please pray that God will get through to him since my family can’t.
 
**I have been addicted to diet pop every since I stopped drinking
alcohol years ago. I have recently stopped “cold turkey”.
The withdrawal is terrible but I want to see it through for health
reasons. I will pray for him and unite our sufferings.

I will pray to God for your brother that he is healed from his smoking addiction.
 
Lord, such a decision can only be made by him, and outside pressure may only annoy rather than convince him, so please encourage him to understanding he is damaging the gift of life and health, and setting himself up for later illnesses. I have an uncle dying, 24/7 attached to an oxygen bottle. Not worth the risk. Please help this loved brother to resolve whatever issues lead him to smoke, and help him to make his decision and definitive efforts to stop polluting his lungs.
We move aside from camp-fire smoke! Why then deliberately draw smoke into our lungs?
