Hi everyone,

It has taken me a lot of work and prayer and reflection and even forgiveness to even come to the point of being able to pray for this intention.

I have a family member who literally thinks she has never done anything wrong in her life ever. She believes she has not and cannot do anything wrong. I am not saying this to judge her, but to help, because this attitude and her distorted self-image is causing her pain and trouble, especially in her relationships with others. For those close to her, she can be scary and she strains and ruins a lot of her friendships and relationships because of her poor self-image, lack of boundaries, etc.

I just want prayers for this person. It is hard to relate to this person, because she cannot accept any kind of criticism, even constructive criticism. Any disagreement or failure to approve and validate her is essentially off limits. People are afraid to tell her the truth because of how she will react, so no one really tells her the truth. I fear this person may become unstable if she ever really is able to admit that she has sinned, done wrong. This idea that she has never done wrong almost defines her self-image.

This was a hard prayer request to make. Please also pray that I can find someone to talk to, because I don’t know how to deal with people who think they are never wrong or never have or could ever sin. I end up thinking that everything bad is my fault and that I can never do anything right or good. And when I get mad at people who think they are never wrong but I always am, I become even more angry at myself. It feels like some form of codependency. I feel like I don’t have my own identity, because I don’t know how to set boundaries and even when I do they are not respected.

I have therapists and other mental health workers. I need prayer though. It has taken me so long to even be able to articulate and explain to myself about these kind of relationships. I feel like I am somehow attracting people into my life who do not think they are ever wrong. I don’t know how to sort it out, how to have boundaries, how to stand up for myself, etc.

Thank you for any prayers for this intention.
God bless you all. Amen.

Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

Praying for the enlightenment of your family member; as for you, I pray that your current therapist and mental health workers would be able to help you in the best way possible. I pray for your wellness. In Christ’s name, Amen.

Remember,
O most gracious Virgin Mary that never was it known that anyone who fled to your protection, Implored your help, or sought your intercession, was left unaided. inspired by this confidence, I fly to you, O Virgin of virgins, my Mother. to you do I come, before you I stand, sinful and sorrowful. O Mother of the Word Incarnate, despise not my petitions, but in Thy mercy hear and answer me, Amen.

Hail Mary
Full of grace
The Lord is with Thee.
Blessed art Thou amongst women,
and blessed is the fruit of Thy womb,
Jesus
Holy Mary
Mother of God,
Pray for us sinners,
Now and at the hour of death,
Amen

I’m praying for you and your family member. May the Lord help grant this person a healthier attitude, especially in the area of making mistakes. May the Lord also help you cope with stress.
