Please keep Steven in your prayers. He is a teen father who has serious emotional problems stemming from his mother’s mental instabilty and abuse, and his father abandoning the family. He has been trying to turn his life around but is going through great turmoil right now and is in a lot of emotional pain. Prayers would be so very much appreciated for this troubled young man.
 
Father, we beg of you to open
the eyes of Steven and grant
him peace in realizing that
you are the only parent we need.
Heal him of all emotional distress
and anxiety with which he suffers.
Send him your special angel to
comfort, protect, and defend him
as he grows in your peace, love,
and understanding.
AMEN
 
I will add my prayers to those of pyropam and will include him in my rosary! A few of my sons have friends that are experiencing some of the very same things so I understand how very painful it is as seen through their eyes!

May Our Lord hold him close when his pain is really bad!

as we forgive those who trespass against us.

but deliver us from evil.

Dear Father, in Jesus’ name, please help this teen Dad to find stability and peace. Please heal his emotional turmoil and pain. Please help him to create sufficient playful time with his family to balance his responsibilities so that he can maintain a healthy spirit. Help him to grow from the handicaps of his early life so that he becomes a stronger, more loving parent and partner. Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit, please hold Steven and his little family in your loving care always. Thank You, God
 
I have watched God at work in my own son’s life as he became a father and happy to report that after calloused knees (which I don’t mind), and TONS of prayer, life is so much better for him, for his daughter and all of us. I will be praying hard for Steven and for you. Through God all things are possible.
