Yesterday’s apparent rockstar suicide got me thinking, that maybe we should be praying, not only for the souls of people who have committed suicide, but for people thinking about it. Let’s pray for them and for their families. God bless.

Jesus, King of Mercy, have mercy on those who are considering suicide, and send your Holy Spirit to enlighten them and stop them from going through with their plans. Also please inspire those family and friends and others around those considering suicide, to see their plans and take steps to stop them from harming or killing themselves and help them to get the mental, spiritual and physical help they need to get out of the pit of despair. In Jesus’ Name we humbly pray. Amen.

Dear Father in heaven,

Please have mercy on those who have suicidal thoughts and/or planning on suicide. Please send your Holy Spirit to them, to remove the thoughts of suicide and to strengthen them, so that they can praise and worship you.
Grant this Oh Lord, through Your one and only precious Son, the Lord Jesus Christ who lives and reigns in you for ever and ever and in unity with the Holy Spirit. Amen.
 
**O Little St. Agnes, so young and yet made so strong and wise by the power of God, protect by your prayers all the young people of every place whose goodness and purity are threatened by the evils and impurities of this world.

Heavenly father, we pray for all those individuals who are suffering from depression and mental health issues. We especially pray for those who are having thoughts of taking their own lives. We pray that they may know that they are never alone and that God is always with them. Help them see the error of their ways and help them regain their faith in humanity, Life, and faith.
