I know I haven’t been here for a while, but I’ve been not feeling well at all. So, I’m just not online as much in general, ya know? I came back here especially cause I could really use some prayers and I know you are just the best prayer warriors around! 😃 I am having surgery in a few weeks. Many persons experience minor to moderate complications after this surgery and it’s not uncommon for recovery time to be in terms of several weeks or more. Due to some pre-existing health issues I have heightened risk for complications. I am getting pretty nervous. I have had many minor to moderate complications with other surgeries, and take extra long to recover cause of my health issues. Prayers for peace of mind now and afterwards and the courage to go through with it, as it is very much needed. Also pray for God’s healing touch to be with me during and after surgery and that everything go smoothly with no complications and that I recover quickly and stay better for good! 🙂 Thanks so much!

Our friend I ask God to give you peace…you have so much legitimate concern and so much time still to be afflicted by it. I ask God to enfold you during your wait, during your discomfort, and throughout your surgery and your recovery. I ask Him to focus your mind in hope and trust and confidence, and in some activity that helps you through all this and ensures you greater immune resistance and a faster recovery.

Sorry to repost, but I could really use continued prayers. I just scheduled my anointing for prior to my surgery and even the priest was concerned and says that it is a difficult surgery. For a priest to be concerned my anxieties must be legit. And I have other already present concerns that could worsen the outcome and lengthen the recovery for me. 😦

It’s only a little over three weeks away, August 21st is the surgery date. My symptoms are getting so bad I am in bed most of the time and can’t do much of anything. But, I am thankful for this cause it’s the pain alone (well that and God’s grace :)) that is giving me the courage to go through with it. It’s not life threatening if treated with this surgery, which I am very thankful for, but I’m still so scared. Please continue to pray, especially for courage to move forward and the grace for success in surgery and a speedy recovery and NO complications. Thanks so much (HUGS)
