As you may know, Senator Ted Kennedy has been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor. No matter what my stance on his public and personal life is, he is still a child of God and our brother.

Lord, let him see the gift of redemptive suffering and the sanctity of all life. I pray that this illness can be a way of conversion for him and that he and his family can find the comfort of Jesus in this difficult time. May he seek your forgiveness as we all do.

AMEN…He is a child of God and I pray that his suffering will be lessened and perhaps a miracle of cure could happen. May God also reveal to him the great gift of life and perhaps change his views on issues. God bless his family and Joan and his friends during this difficult time.
