I’m worried about one of my closest friends, she’s been raised Methodist, her grandparents take her to church probably once every two months or so, she believes in God, as far as I know, but she doesn’t “get it” she’s gay, she’s prochoice, and I’ve heard her say when she moves out she’s basically never going to church again(she’ll go to college within the next year), however she did get very hurt when someone questioned her religion, but I’m not sure exactly where she truly stands on God and religion. I don’t want to intrude and be personal when she might not want to talk about something, she DID say though that by her observation, by watching me that Catholics seem closer to God than any other faith. So I’m hoping maybe I kind of cracked the door open, but I’d prefer it to be her idea, and not mine :o I’ve been putting her in my rosary and novena intentions. Please pray for her, her name is Charlotte.

Praying to the Holy Spirit to give Charlotte guidance & direction to the Catholic Church.

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls.

Amen.

Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name.

Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Give us this day our daily bread.

And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.

And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.

Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee.

Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb Jesus.

Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.

Amen.

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!

Jesus, I trust in You!

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, I trust in You!

Amen.

Praying to the Holy Spirit that by the grace of God, Charlotte will be drawn towards a great faith in Jesus Christ and his most holy Church…

Come Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of Thy faithful (and unfaithful!), and kindle in them the fire of Your love. Send forth Your Spirit, and they shall be created, and You shall renew the face of the earth. Amen.

*O most beautiful Flower of Mount Carmel, Fruitful Vine, Splendor of Heaven, who brought forth the Son of God still remaining a Virgin, assist us in this necessity. O Star of the Sea, help us, and show us that you are our Mother.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee. *Sweet Mother, we place this cause in your hands. Amen.
