Prayers for the ending of the MSRA Staph infections

In case anyone hasnt heard about this, its been in the news alot lately. The MSRA virus or Staph infection for short has been killing alot of people in the U.S. and is spreading rapidly. It is resistant to anti-biotics and is fatal, After reading an article in the new york post about a 12 year old boy who was infected and died, I felt prompted to start a prayer request thread for the victims, their families, those already sick, and for the end of the spread of this terrible disease.

MRSA has been around for many years. I am praying for all the victims.

Praying for a cure,and those who have been affected with this virus,its shut down two high schools in my area.
 
At least one good thing has happened since kids are getting it from school.Everyone used to think that MRSA was only found in hospitals. Now they know that it is everywhere.

OBTW, MRSA is curable using the right antibiotics if caught early enough.

Also, MRSA is a bacteria, not a virus.

Best way NOT to get it? Wash your hands OFTEN! That includes any cuts or scrapes. DON"T use antibiotic ointment on every cut you get.DON"T use antibiotics for every ailment you get. That is why Staph mutated into MRSA!
 
Just found out my granddaughters school is infected,and she has a weakened immune system,they are not closing the schools to clean them here,in IL.I’m praying that she stays well.
 
'Been praying to St.Rita and St.Jude (his feast day was yesterday) - patron saints of the impossible. My husband has MSRA on his arm and finishes 10 day antibiotics this Wednesday and then ‘clean-up’ antibiotics for 20 days to be sure we’re all clear . . .2nd staph infection in a month. Also, a friend of mine @ church - her father has had it for 6 weeks, almost didn’t make the first week. Hopefully he is on the upswing - had to remove a 4x6 inch section of his leg. We are fortunate that my DHs infection has not been this severe. Please pray for this woman’s father and all who are suffering with this.
 
Father, I ask that You keep and protect the children of Your children harm everyday, and especially please guide the doctors and nurses to find cures for MRSA and the other afflictions we must deal with here. I look at the Earth as a beautiful flower that You have given us, there is such beauty around us, but their are also thorns with this beautiful flower - please protect Your littles ones and guide us so that we may protect them as well. In the name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
