I haven’t eaten much today. When that happens I feel very weak and lightheaded. I started thinking today about all the people throughout the world, especially children, who are truly starving and don’t know when their next meal will be, if they even will get a next meal. I know that right now my dad is cooking dinner, and although I feel weak right now, I know I am going to get some food soon, and if that is not enough, I can drive to any place that serves food and get something more to eat. So I am going to ask people to pray for those who are starving, that they may find a way to eat regularly. I will pray that somehow, we do whatever needs to be done that everyone can get the nutrition they need to do God’s will in their lives, and not be hampered by fatigue from starvation and lack of energy.

O Holy Mary, Mother of God, Queen of Heaven and earth, we humbly ask you from the depths of our heart to help us in this necessity. There are none who can withstand your power. O show us that you are our Mother.

Lord, you have given us your bread of life from heaven, which sustains physically and spiritually. Give also to all those who are without temporal food the resources to consume a satisfactory meal, that they might appreciate your bounty and journey through this earthly pilgrimage with focus and drive. Send angels to minster to all of their hungering souls. Satisfy them physically and spiritually. Let no putrid fog in this fallen, perverted world, ever overwhelm these and all souls. Lead them to the eternal banquet of life, where they might ever sup with you and all the angels and saints. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.
 
Saint Michael, the archangel, defend us in battle, be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil, may God rebuke him, we humbly pray. And do you, O’ Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God thrust into Hell Satan and all the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls.
