Prayers for the unbaptised

I have two questions.
  1. Would God answer a prayer from a parent for an unbaptised child/baby in the same way that he would answer a prayer for a baptised child/baby?
  2. Could baptism affect a baby’s behaviour? I believe that when a baby get’s baptised and the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in that individual that something very profound has taken place in that individual and they are not the same as before. Does that translate into an observable manifestation?
The day my daughter was baptised (she was a few weeks old) was the first time she smiled at her mom. What a beautiful moment it was. However, this did not happen with our other 4 kids. So just co-incidental?

Would a baby sleep better once baptised? I believe it could. I also acknowledge that there are mariads of other reasons babies do not sleep well. But I do believe baptism does something and brings a certain beautiful peace - which may not always be observable but it is there.

Any thoughts on my 1st or 2nd question?

Thanks in advance.

Yes to prayers for the unbaptised

There is no correlation between baptism and sleep or behaviour.
Babies will be babies

I agree that scientifically there is no correlation between baptism and sleeping behaviour. But I still do believe that being baptised does have some effect. It may (and please note I say MAY) manifest through sleep, who knows - or maybe in some other way or not at all in a way we can observe.
