Prayers for those 20 murdered kindergarten students and other victims

I have no words…only prayers to those souls and to the families that must be absolutely torn apart with grief and sadness.
 
The children are holy innocents; I would pray very hard for their parents, who will have to live with this day for the rest of their lives. Jesus we trust in You.
 
The horror of this day is beyond words. My grandson just left to pick up my great granddaughters from kindergarten, 5 year old twin girls. I am just sick when I think of the families of these precious children that lost their lives today. For these children and the adults that lost their lives today I pray. For the surviving families I pray.

Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the Living God, have mercy.
 
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle. Be our safeguard against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray, and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly Host, by the power of God, cast into Hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.

Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you, save souls! Console the parents of these little ones and the families of the adults who perished. Give strength and courage to the survivors.

Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world. For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.

O blood and water which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fountain of mercy for us, I trust in you! :signofcross:
 
There is a thread in the Prayer Intentions forum; please go there and add your prayers. There’s also a thread in the World News forum but they are just arguing about gun control. :mad:

This tragedy made me a better mother today. All the little things just didn’t seem so big today.
 
My prayers for all affected. I pray that the MOST SACRED HEART OF JESUS Console all those affected, and bring all those little souls to eternal life. :bighanky::bighanky::bighanky:

This is unbeleviable and disgusting. We call ourselves a developed, moral and civil society??
 
Prayers, prayers, prayers. I am heartbroken for the loss, but I know they are in the hands of our most loving Father.
 
I don’t have any kids, but when I imagine how it must have been for those children I feel very sad. 😦
 
me too. my daughter is 5 and a half…just 6 months younger than one of the victims.

looking at their innocent pictures tears me up inside.

i just found out today that a little girl in Sota’s class played dead and that’s how she survived the shooting. She is the little girl that came out of the school covered in blood.

my heart is broken. innocence lost forever!

Mother Theresa said (paraphrasing), “If you want to spread world peace, go home and love your families.”

I will remember this more than ever during Christmas this year.
