Prayers for those at boston marathon

I had a weep this morning when I woke to news of the tragedy at the Boston Marathon. I prayed and will pray for Boston, the USA, and our world in general - and so many suffering terribly in so many places and through deliberately inflicted violence on the innocent and without seemingly any concern whatsoever. It does really come home in a deeper way when friends like the USA are directly affected.

Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;

Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
 
I am praying that this ordeal with the bombers ends soon for everyone’s sake. Dear sacred Heart Jesus please comfort those suffering

Praying for all who died, all who were injured, and the loved ones of all affected

and the treasury of compassion inexhastible ,
look kindly upon us and increase Your mercy in us ,
that in difficult moments we might not despair
nor become despondent , but with great confidence ,
submit ourselves to Your Holy Will ,
which is love and mercy itself . Amen

I heard today on the news of the outpour of donations for the victims. Money cannot replace what they have lost. I am praying for their recovery
 
It is a blessing that more didn’t die…we had first rate medical care nearby in the medical tent, people that were all too willing to run into the fray and several major hospitals within a short distance.

Granted we lost 3 precious people, 4 counting the MIT officer.

Losses such as these are not tolerable, but if God can lessen the carnage through His Intercession I’m sure he did.

dear Sacred Heart of Jesus please bless and be with all those that are trying to recover from this terrible tragedy and those that have left us to be with you
