Heavenly Father, calm the seas of these violent storms. Protect those in its path from injury or harm. We ask all these prayers through Christ our Lord and the intercession of St. Mary, Star of the Sea. Amen.

Eternal God, in whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us, and increase Your mercy in us, so that in difficult moments we might not despair, nor become despondent, but with great confidence, submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself. Amen

this is getting old
yes please do pray, our people have just about had it, some have not yet restored homes after Dolly, and those in colonias are really suffering. neighbors struggling to get roof repairs from Dolly done before Friday, and sand-bagging the heck out of their properties.
 
We have been praying for your intention every day at our parish’s morning mass. You are not alone.
